Nathan Soltz is a dedicated organizer, a proud son of an immigrant from El Salvador, and a lifelong advocate for a stronger, more transparent Democratic Party.

With over a decade of experience in Democratic politics, Nathan currently serves as Secretary of the Democratic Party of Oregon and Chief of Staff to State Senator Lew Frederick.

Throughout his career, Nathan has worked to build a more inclusive and effective party—one that listens to its grassroots, supports candidates at every level, and upholds the values of trust, transparency, and respect. From leading critical party committees to organizing for real change in communities across Oregon, Nathan has the experience and vision to strengthen the DPO for the fights ahead.

Now, as he steps forward to run for DPO Chair, Nathan is ready to continue that work—bringing people together, building the infrastructure to win, and ensuring that every Democrat in Oregon has a voice in shaping the party’s future.
